Summary
A soft toy llama. It is part of a collection of toy / modal animals collected by the donor while living in Canada as a child in the 1950's / early 1960's. The Llama was collected from Portland, Oregon, USA by the donor, who named him 'Larry'. The body, upper legs and tail of the llama are made of artificial fur which is curly in appearance and cream with black and brown patches. The face, lower legs, feet and ears are made of short, yellow-ish artificial fur. The llama's front feet are pigeon-toed and the eyes are made of brown and black coloured glass.
Provenance
Collected by the donor during the late 1950's / early 1960's, and donated to the Museum of Childhood by Ms Deborah Neal in May 2012.
