Summary
A red doll's dress with stitched detail and a lace trim, found in the 'Matilda's Wardrobe'. It is for a Matilda doll and made by 'Pedigree'. A white 'sash', made from two pieces of ribbon, has come away on one side, and is now tied onto the other piece of ribbon on the side still attached. Both ribbons are frayed at the ends.
Provenance
Bought for the donor's daughters in the 1970s and 1980s, and donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mrs Jenny Darby in February 2012.
