Summary
A red doll's dress with black 'lace' detailing at the hem and around the sleeves, bought by the donor as an accessory for 'Sindy' dolls. There is some fraying at the edges on the neckline at the front, and at the waist at the back. There is no fastening method to the dress, it may have originally have had poppers or similar.
Provenance
Bought for the donor's daughters in the 1970s and 1980s, and donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mrs Jenny Darby in February 2012.
