Summary
One of a pair of identical red 'Mothercare' plastic doll's carry cots with handles, bought by donor as an accessory to 'Tiny Tears' or 'Teeny Tiny Tears' dolls. The cot is made of red plastic, with a removable cover fastened by poppers, and a hood that can be lowered, also fastened by poppers. The cover also has 'Mothercare' embossed upon it, and underneath written in pen has the name 'Julia Darby' (one of donor's daughters).
Provenance
Bought for the donor's daughters in the 1970s and 1980s, and donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mrs Jenny Darby in February 2012.
