Summary
One of two 'Tiny Tears' plastic dolls made by Palitoy (1970-1989). She has moulded and painted facial features with open-and-shut blue eyes and rooted blonde nylon hair. There is a small stain mark on her left cheek. She is wearing a homemade knitted matching set of coat, dress, knickers, hat and bootees in red with white detailing, made by the donor.
Provenance
Bought and handmade for the donor's daughters in the 1970s and 1980s, and donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mrs Jenny Darby in February 2012.
