Summary
A brown cardboard box partitioned into ten sections containing cardboard coins. This may or may not be the original box. There is a cream paper label on the box lid on which is printed, the A.L. No.3, Partitioned Tidy Box, Class, pupils name. Name of school with E.J Arnold and Son LTD and their addresses. The coins consist of 4 crowns, 30 halfcrowns, 34 florins, 84 - 1/-, 45 - 6d, 15 - 3d, 33 - 1d, 67 - 1/2d and 42 farthings, one 1/2d is in two pieces. The box is tied with a piece of string. Some of the coins are of a different size - could be two different sets. Total number of items is 368.
