Summary
A small easel with a blackboard fixed to its front. The blackboard can be turned over. A wing nut holds it in position to prevent it turning over when in use. Above the blackboard is a carved wooden frame, behind which are two rollers. A fabric roll printed with a number of alphabets and figures to copy is missing. A carved top board to match the frame is at the top of the easel. It is kept rigid by wooden brackets below the board and cross-braces between the back legs. A piece of plywood has also been nailed to the back legs, but this has become loose. Chains at both sides prevent the legs from spreading apart.
