Summary
A sampler worked on beige coloured linen. Framing the sampler is a border of fine cross stitch and stylised flowers. Across the top are the letters of the alphabet and numbers in capitals and lower case. In the middle is an embroidered verse and the name 'Mary Bradley march 31, 12 years of 1812, age'. There are small embroideries filling the rest of the canvas. The sampler is sellotaped to the front of a cardboard hinged mount.
