Summary
A handwritten letter which reads as follows 'Revd Sir, We have about 24 Children that are able to use the Spelling Books and Tables and 22 fit for the reading Book and 14 for the Battledore's. I am Revd Sir your most humble and Obedient Servant, E Hague'. There is a reproduction photograph of this letter mounted on grey cardboard. In the bottom left-hand corner is the word 'Radburn'. On the reverse of the cardboard is stamped 'Copyright'. The word 'Brown' is handwritten on the reverse of the cardboard also. There is also a magazine article entitled 'A Village School Two Hundred Years Ago' by W.G. Briggs, regarding the Radborne and Mugginton schools. Radborne is also referred to as Radburne in the article. Total number of items is 3.
