Summary
A quill pen with white feathers at one end. At the nib end the quill has been spliced lengthways three times to produce a feathered appearance. The nib has been stained by maroon coloured ink. Half way along the quill the number '1260' has been written in black ink. The label on the tissue paper reads 'XE.216 (Writing), 1 feathered Quill'.
