Summary
A 1920s low slung, green metal doll's pram with a green painted fabric folding hood and iconic Art Deco styling, made by Lines Bros Ltd. The body which has black and white line decorations on the sides should hang from the metal chassis but all the straps are broken or missing. However there are three broken leather adjustable straps and two long leather straps in the bottom of the pram. The spoked wheels are fitted with solid rubber tyres and all have individual mudguards. The metal handle has a black painted wooden hand bar and is collapsible. It is lined with green painted fabric over padding and has two leather restraining straps. A box shaped apron in green painted fabric with elastic loops. There is a white cotton stuffed mattress and pillow. Total number of items is 10.
Marks and inscriptions
On the rim of each tyre: 'SUPER JOINTLESS CUSHIONED [ ] x 10 [ ] TO FIT [ ] RIM MADE IN ENGLAND LINES BROS LTD.' On the front of the body of the pram: '[THI]S TOY IS MADE UNDER ALL OR/SOME OF THE FOLLOWING PATENTS/AND OTHER PATENTS PENDING/No.[3]2503 No.23100/No.27351[3] No.[2]035[0][9]'
