Summary
A two-seater doll's pram possibly made by 'Hutchings' (circa 1930). It has a curved wooden body painted black with gold coloured trim. At either end are two, imitation leather, black painted fabric, folding hoods, each lined with waxed black cotton. The hoods fold on hinged metal rods. There is a tubular metal handle with a black painted handrail. The body of the pram is attached to the frame with four adjustable black plastic or rubber straps with metal buckles. (Inside the pram are twelve pieces of loose leather strap, ten of which have buckles, which are presumably original to the pram since some strap pieces are still attached to the interior). There is a pair of metal axles each supporting a pair of metal spoked wheels. The back pair slightly overlap the front pair. The wheels have either rubber or plastic solid tyres. The interior is upholstered with dark brown painted fabric. In the centre bottom of the body is a foot well lined with a piece of card printed with a red and brown geometric pattern. Total number of items is 13.
