Summary
A collection of models: A green metal model Dinky Toy 'Fordson' truck (circa 1950s). The cab and rear of the truck are green and the wheels are made from black rubber with hood caps in the centre. A silver metal model Dinky Toy 'Seaplane' (circa 1950s). The plane is a silver colour all over its surface and has four red propellers; two on the front of each wing. It has two landing floats under each wing. Across the wing span in black is written 'G - A V K W'. A silver metal model Dinky Toy 'Tempest II' aeroplane. The plane is silver all over its surface with a red propeller at the front. On each wing and each side of the body of the plane are the RAF roundels in blue and red. The Dinky Toys 70b (730) Hawker Tempest II had two periods in the Dinky catalogues, the first was immediately after the war between 1946 and 1949 and it was then re-introduced between 1952 and 1955. A silver metal model 'Viking' aeroplane (circa 1950s). The plane is silver all over its surface with one red propellers on the front of each wing. Written across the wing span is 'G - A G O L'. In storage A camp bed made of canvas stretched over a wooden frame. The canvas is dark brown colour, the wood is unpainted. There is a bar covering the length of each side and a short curved bar goes through the hem at each end and buckles onto studs at the ends of the side bars to keep the canvas taut. There are legs at each end and in the middle which enfold to an X shape. One end bar is missing. Total number of items is 6.
