Summary
Two grey, jointed, wooden toy elephants. Thin elastic is threaded through the body to connect the sections of the trunk, the head, legs and tail. This allows the parts to be moved, then spring back into place. The larger one is painted grey, with white tusks and toe nails. It has shaped ears and legs and a red, white and gold coloured blanket painted on its back. The smaller one is grey stained polished wood. Its ears are drawn on and it has a red, black and silver coloured blanket. Total number of items is 2.
Provenance
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mrs M. B. Glossop in May 1983.
