Summary
A cream coloured cardboard box containing forty two large dip in pen nibs which say Geo. W. Hughes, million pen, Birmingham, 304 M, England, white horse' and have a picture of a horse. The fold-over lid has 'The Gladiator Clip, registered, 100, small lipped, Made in England' printed in black ink with a picture of a gladiator at the left with 'Regd Trade Mark' printed beneath him. A small red and white match box style cardboard box contains five small pen nibs, with Joseph Gillott's Warranted, England, 170' printed on them and one finer nib. The red box has 'Joseph Gillott and Sons, Pen Makers to the King, Birmingham and London' printed in white with a white label at the base with '170' printed in black. The base has a picture of a factory in an oval with 'Joseph Gillott and Sons, London, Birmingham, Paris and New York' printed above and 'Grand Prix Paris 1900' below this picture. A small plastic see through packet contains two pen nibs. The packet has 'Peerless' in white on dark blue and 'Packet of Pen nibs, Made in England' also in blue. Total number of items is 53.
