Summary
A polished wooden box with a green paper label stuck to the sliding lid. On the label is printed, in black, 'A Royal Game of Word-Making And Word-Taking. Containing 300 letters. & C' and a type of royal crest. There is a scroll type patterned boarder around the edge. The game consists of 289 small, beige coloured, card tiles each printed with a black letter. There are also ten paper, handmade tiles which have been used to alter the tiles but have come adrift (some are still stuck to the card). These tiles are contained in a red, cotton handmade drawstring bag. The rules of the game are printed on a folded piece of grey card. Total number of items is 303.
