Summary
A set of seven knuckle bones accompanied by a list. Written in ink on a sheet of paper is a list headed 'Knuckle bones'. Underneath is written the following: Snobs 5 times; One-ums; Two-ums; Three-ums; Four-ums; Coach-ums; Bridge-ums; One-ums Kiss ums; Two ums Kiss ums; Three ums Kiss ums; Four ums Kiss ums; Crash-ums; Hand-ums; Elbow-ums; Arm-ums; Double Swops; Treble Swops; Quadruple Swops. On the reverse of the sheet of paper the list continues with the following: Finger-ums; Frog-holes; Magpies; Stable-ums; Behind Me back-ums. The original rectangular cardboard box has a removable lid with an orange and black printed paper label. This reads 'Knuckle Bones And how to use them, An Amusing Recreation, Published By J. Jaques And Son London.' The interior of the box is blue and divided into two compartments which contain six knucklebones. Total number of items is 16.
