Summary
A rectangular wooden box with a slide off lid on which is a green and white printed paper label which reads 'Picture Lotto, New Game, Jaques and Son. London'. Inside the box are twelve rectangular pieces of card each with fifteen colour printed illustrations of familiar objects. There are 180 small green rectangular cards on which are printed the corresponding names to the pictures of familiar objects. These names are printed in both English and French. There is also a cream paper leaflet providing printed directions on how to play Picture Lotto. The leaflet is badly fixed. It also has advertisements for other games. Stamped in ink on the underside of the lid is '[H.] A. Cripps, Game And Toy Counters, 268, 269, 270, 271, Long Dean Street Room, Soho Bazaar, French, German, American And English Toys, Games, Puzzles, Cubes Etc'. Total number of items is 195.
