One hockey stick, the handle bound in two colours of thread giving a striped effect, coming loose on one end. There are two stamped marks, 'College' and 'G.G.B. and Co, London' inscribed on the wood in ink 'Jean Dunicliff, Joy Davis, 63 AS'. The white sticky binding round the heel is frayed, stained and coming off. The donor says that it was purchased for the donor at Ryder's shop in Uttoxeter c.1940 when she was evacuated there during war. Given to understand that stick was made pre-war, late 30s'.
