Summary
An interlocking jigsaw puzzle, made of colour-printed paper stuck on cardboard, in its original box, which depicts a view of Westminster Abbey, with houses leading down to the river in the foreground. The box consists of a base of cardboard covered in white paper and a lid which is colour-printed and includes a large reproduction of the image in the jigsaw, printed as if in a frame. Also printed on the lid, obscuring part of the image, is 'Old Masters, A Waddington Puzzle On Qualitex Board'. Below the image is printed 'View Of London With The Thames, by Antonio Canaletto'. Most of this information is also printed round the sides of the lid, along with the size in inches and centimetres, '400 Piece Puzzle' and 'Stock No. 532'. The lid is quite dirty, dog-eared and sellotaped - areas of paper have been torn off, possibly by removing sellotape. Total number of items is 340.
