Summary
A colour printed jigsaw showing Wells Cathedral with a garden in the foreground. The number of jigsaw pieces in the box totals 407, plus one foreign piece wrapped in tissue paper. The original box has top and bottom, two pieces, therefore total the number of items is 410. One piece of sky is missing. There is also a brown piece in the box which does not belong. It is one of a series of famous cathedrals produced for Philmar by W.H. Maile, F.R.S.A. The original box has the print of the jigsaw on the lid, the title, Philmar jigsaw puzzles. A companion jigsaw being Sheffield Cathedral. Total number of items is 410.
