Summary
A yellow bean toy representing the Teletubbies character Laa Laa, (1996) in a sitting position. It is made from a woolly man-made fabric, with fleece-type fabric on the palms of its hands and forming the television screen shaped area on its front, and a ribbed fabric spotted with plastic on the soles of its feet. The figure has large ears lined with very short-pile cream fur fabric and a yellow short-pile fur fabric-covered antenna shaped as a squiggle. Its face is made from plastic the colour of human skin, moulded and painted, with an animal-like nose, a black mouth and black and brown eyes. Sewn at the lower edge of the back seam is a ribbon label, printed on one side with 'Teletubbies' and copyright information, and on the other with washing instructions and manufacturer's information. A circular cardboard label attached to its left hand with a plastic tie is colour-printed on one side with 'Teletubbies, My First Teletubby Bean Toy', and on the other with washing instructions and manufacturer and safety information.
