Summary
Five fluffy Easter chick decorations, three standing and two sitting in egg halves. The standing models have oval, tightly-packed felt bodies with orange paper-covered wire legs and nylon 'down'. Their heads, and the heads and bodies of the seated chicks resemble tiny pompoms of nylon 'fluff'. Much of their 'plumage' is coming away in tufts. Each chick has bright coloured tail feathers and pastel-coloured and white bodies. The standing ones have hats made from shiny, metallic coloured pipe cleaners wound round and glued on. The jagged-edged 'shells' of the others are made of cardboard which is painted and glued to green cardboard circles, each stamped with 'Foreign'. Most of the chicks have beaks made from tightly-rolled paper which is then painted pink - one of these is loose in the box. Very few have tiny black eyes made from tiny balls of composition - one of these is also loose in the box. The chicks were found in a white, rectangular cardboard box whose base is lined in gold-coloured cardboard folded to form four compartments. The lid of the box is printed in black with 'Dorlon Victorian mints' and 'Victorian mints, strong minted creams with bitter blended chocolate'. Total number of items is 9.
