Summary
A jigsaw puzzle of a miniature express railway engine, tender and part of a carriage, the train is pictured just leaving a station, the adult driver looking directly at the viewer. The engine and tender are green in colour and carry the name 'Typhoon' and the letters 'RHDR'. The puzzle is made of wooden ply (111 pieces) with a paper picture attached. The puzzle is different in that it is made of two grades and thickness of plywood, 7-ply for the engine and tender, 5-ply for the surrounding landscape. The puzzle has one piece missing. The original box carries a picture of the puzzle but is seriously worn and damaged. The puzzle has an accompanying frame painted red and carrying the makers name and logo on the underside. Printed on the box are 'A Constructional 'Victory' Jigsaw Puzzle Miniature Express' and 'Trade 'Victory' Mark, Made in England By G.J.Hayter & Co. Ltd. Boscombe Bournemouth'. Total number of items is 161.
