Summary
Two packs of playing cards in their original box. Both packs are unused, still wrapped in cellophane. The box is made of cardboard and in two halves, the base covered in gold-coloured paper, the lid in brown suede-effect paper. Stamped in gold-coloured ink on the lid is an oak-leaf design in a circle and the words 'The National Trust'. The inside of the base is lined with gold-coloured cardboard, which is folded to form a 'wall' at the centre dividing the two packs of cards. Both sets have the same deisgn on the back, of oak leaves and acorns with 'N.T.' in a circle at the centre, but one is in brown on white, the other dark green on white. There is an example of each card glued to the underside of the box base. Total number of items is 4.
