Summary
A Word Mastermind game in its original box, consisting of a peg board and many coloured pegs. The box, in two halves, is made from folded white cardboard colour-printed on the lid with the words 'word Mastermind' on the top and all four sides, a photo of the game on the sides, and a photograph of a seated bearded man and a standing woman on the top. The peg board is made from moulded brown rigid plastic which has moulded borders round each section on the board, i.e. boxes for the rows of guessed letters and the groups of four small holes alongside. There is a separate piece for holding the letters in the word to be guessed, and a further piece presumably to hold the unused letters. There are five small, flat-topped white plastic pegs. The letters are printed in black on thin white plastic sheets, ready to be pressed out and used. One hardly-used sheet is on the box, along with 310 pressed-out letters. Also in the box are two folded paper sheets detailing instructions and rules for playing the original Mastermind game, printed in English and fifteen other languages. There is also a colour-printed, folded sheet detailing the entire range of Mastermind games. Total number of items is 324.
