Summary
A large wall map colour-printed on linen-backed paper (then varnished), with wooden battens nailed on at the top and bottom edges. A small paper label on the back reads 'South America - Political'. The map is quite dirty around the edges, and the varnish has discoloured. Both battens are stained black. The top batten is flat, and has two small loops of cotton tape attached approximately one-third and two-thirds of the way along, for hanging. There is also a metal ring at the left-hand end. The lower piece of wood is cylindrical and forms a roller for rolling up the map for storage.
