Summary
A large wall map, one of Philips' series of comparative wall atlases, entitled 'British Isles, Commercial Development'. It is colour-printed on linen-backed white paper which, when folded correctly, has blue cardboard covers at the front and back. The front has a white label printed in blue, which reads '3. British Isles. - Commercial Development'. In each of the top corners is a large gold-coloured metal eyelet. The map has a large red ink stain at one edge, is slightly dirty round the edges, and is beginning to come apart at the folds. One of these tears has been mended with cotton tape.
