Summary
A large wall map, one of Philips' series of comparative wall atlases, entitled 'The British Isles In Relation To The Continent'. It is colour-printed on linen-backed white paper which, when folded correctly, has blue cardboard covers at the front and back. The front has a white label printed in blue, which reads 'The Countries Of Europe, 6. British Isles in relation to Europe'. In each of the top corners is a large gold-coloured metal eyelet. The map is beginning to come apart at the folds. One of these has been mended with cotton tape, but this is also now coming unstuck. The edges are quite dirty, and there are a few ink stains on the back.
