Summary
A tall brass microscope with three spare lenses which can be screwed into the bottom of the barrel. A pair of milled wheels adjust the height of the eyepiece. Each lens has a brass body and is contained in a brass canister with a screw-on brass lid. On the lid of one lens case is engraved '1 6 H. Crouch, London', on the second '1 4 H. Crouch, London'. This lid is flattened at one side and will not screw on. On the third lid is engraved '2 3 in. E. Saunders, Oxford'. Bulk objects phrase: Total number of items is 10.
