Summary
A doll dressed as a Scotsman which has a metal mechanism inside whose purpose is unknown. He has a painted composition head with painted facial features, brown hair and a blue tam-o-shanter with a red pompom. The paint and composition are quite chipped. His body is basically a cardboard box to house the mechanism. It has oval shaped sides. His very long, painted wooden arms are joined at the shoulder through the box with strong metal wire. His painted wooden legs are joined similarly through the base of the box but not attached to the mechanism. He is wearing a blue felt jacket with gold-coloured metal buttons, and a kilt made from white, pink, black, yellow and green wool tartan. He also has a 'sporran' of white fur fabric. Underneath he has matching tartan pants, and around his neck is a red cotton scarf. His clothing is quite dirty.
