Summary

A blue painted, doll's house size fireplace with a solid hearth, semi-circular columns on either side of the 'fire' and a solid mantle piece (contents from Mrs Davies' doll's house - inventory number - 662026).The fire is represented by a colour printed piece of paper stuck onto the wooden backing and shows red flames inside a gold painted grate.

Provenance

Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mrs B. Davies in November 1989.
