Summary
An oblong scrap consisting of three coloured pictures on paper. The first shows two figures: a lady in a long white gown, with a chatelaine swinging from her waist and a kneeling courtier dressed in a red hat, a red tunic, green and yellow striped doublet and blue hose. Pink roses are growing all around them with a castle in the background. 'D4' is printed at the bottom left-hand corner in brown. Picture two shows two houses with a girl dressed in a white shirt, a black waistcoat, a red skirt and a white apron. She is closing the door on a fire with the green back and red leg of someone in the fire. At the base is 'H u G 3'. The third picture has the same girl opening a trap door from which a boy in a white shirt and green trousers is emerging. In the background is a house with trees and red flowers. 'H u G 4' is printed in brown in the bottom left of the paper. At the top right-hand corner is a white oval label with 'NRC/796' written in red ink.
