Summary
Game playing pieces. They are small wooden cone shapes dyed in seven colours (nineteen beige, eight yellow, thirty-one green, five orange, nineteen purple, fifteen deep pink, thirty-nine black). Each cone shape has a bulbous top, a rim around the lower edge and a hole in the base. There is one green dyed round peg with a narrow top half and a broader base. The narrow end fits some of the holes in the cones. All are contained in a metal tin. The container is a brass coloured coated tin with a hinged lid. The top is painted cream with red lettering reading 'First Aid Outfit, British Made' with a list of contents and the makers name and address. Inside the lid are some hints on first aid. Total number of items is 138.
Provenance
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mr and Mrs P. Andrews in January 1988.
