Summary
Twelve gaming pieces which are made from turned wood (cylindrical), shaped and painted to look like stylised figures, but without arms or legs and each with a hole through the centre. They are as follows: two male figures with brown hats, pink faces, brown jackets and black bases (legs) and with 'Page-Boy' painted across their hat; two blue painted male figures with tall conical hats and grumpy looking features; two boy figures with tall red painted hats, pink faces, green jackets and white trousers with red bases; two green painted male figures with tall conical hats and smiley faces; two red painted male figures with domed shaped hats; one male figure with red hat, pink face, red coat and brown trousers and with 'Grand-Hotel' painted across his hat; one male painted figure with red hat, pink face, blue jacket, pink trousers and blue base. There is also a white rectangular shaped cardboard box (not original) with separate lid with a gold coloured Christmas tape stuck across it and a handwritten ink inscription. Total number of items is 14.

Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mr and Mrs P. Andrews in January 1988.
