Summary
A 1950s plastic word game entitled 'Fairylite Word Puzzle', in its original box. The game consists of a square, brown plastic frame into which are slotted fifteen square, white plastic, 'tablets'. On each 'tablet' appears an impressed letter in either red or black. The 16th letter has been deliberately missing so that the letters can be moved into the empty space and different word combinations can be created. The original box is square in shape and has an opening flap at the top. It has a printed orange and blue background with blue and white text reading 'fairylite Word Puzzle, Amuse your friends with this unusual game'. The back has 'Sample Solutions' showing blue printed drawings of 'horizontal' and 'vertical' combinations. Total number of items is 2.
