Summary
A Jigsaw puzzle, Popular Dogs', in its original box (c1930s). The cardboard jigsaw has a colour-printed image The white card box printed with red, green and black design on the top. In the red area is printed 'Daily Mail, Popular Dogs Jig-saw Puzzle', on the black is 'Over 400 Pieces' and 'Price 1' and on the green is, '£5000 In Cash Prizes Must Be Won'. On the white sides of the lid, printed in blue, is the same information. The picture shows fourteen breeds of dogs with the title along the top and a row of people along the bottom. With this are two entry forms for the competition, black printed on yellow paper and a green, addressed envelope. Total number of items is 398.
