Summary
A wooden cylindrical tube with a removable lid containing three pen holders. The holder has a plain rounded base and the sides are grooved and painted in black, brown and green (faded and worn off). At the top the cylinder narrows to enable the lid to fit on. The lid is also painted and grooved in black and brown. There is a long split on it. The three wooden pen nib holders are stained blue and have metal ends into which the nibs would have fitted. Total number of items is 5.
Provenance
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Miss Eileen Colwell in October 1974.
