Summary
A large colour printed poster for the Museum of Childhood Bethnal Green. It depicts a picture of a girl, in a yellow dress, breaking an egg into a bowl, another egg in her right hand. Sitting on a table, to her left, is a red squirrel eating a nut. The whole is set in an oval with a room setting in the background. The picture is surrounded by a black background. The picture is a new work of art commissioned by London Underground entitled 'Childhood' by Simon Gales. In the top left of the poster is 'The Museum of Childhood, Nearest Station Bethnal Green. In the right-hand corner is the red and blue logo for the London underground. In the bottom left-hand corner is 'Art on the Underground' and in the right-hand corner is 'London Underground Limited'.
