Summary
A dark stained wooden school desk with top that opens. It has four plain wooden legs and two plain wooden stretchers. The desk itself is rectangular in shape and has a lid which opens and is hinged at the back. There is a metal bar inside which is attached to the desk on either side and moves up and down on two bolts. The desk lid can be rested on this bar and slotted into grooves on the underside to create a drawing board if the child sits on the other side of the desk. There are the remains of coloured paper stickers on the underside of the lid.
