Summary
A Mothercare 'Bouncing Cradle' for a baby (circa 1982). It is a metal framed baby seat with a textile cover. It is made from an aluminium frame over which is stretched a piece of fabric. The fabric forms the seat and footrest. The fabric has a printed pattern (repeat) made up of elephants, butterflies, rabbits, ducks, bears, trees and hearts, all in purple, blue, yellow and red on a white background. Attached to either side is a horizontal strap in the same fabric. Another vertical strap is attached above the foot rest and loops over the horizontal strap, this is for the child to put its feet through.
