Summary
A child's multicoloured woollen jumper with a collar, long sleeves and a short front opening that closes with three buttons (circa 1935 to circa 1955). This is a commercially made garment. The predomimating background colour of the garment is navy blue. There are stripes of yellow, red, pale blue, airforce blue, brown and orange which run round the sleeves and round the lower half of the body of the garment. In the top half of the body of the garment these colours are in vertical bands alternating with vertical navy blue bands knitted in cable stitch.
