Summary
A cream woollen coat for a boy (1920s - 1930s) which has possibly never been worn and is probably home-made. The straight coat has long set - in sleeves with a turn back cuff with a row of decorative black stitching woven in. This is repeated at the hem and across the two large patch pockets on the front. The coat has a large pointed collar and it fastens down the front with four sets of brown leather ties which thread through two buttonholes. The front facing is edged with dark brown bias binding.
