Summary
A large doll's house size fireplace made from the wood of cigar boxes, stained dark brown (from 'Bella Vista' doll's house - inventory number 661761). The fire basket consists of a metal drawer handle upside down, screwed to the fireback. Above the fire is a mantelpiece bearing two turned wooden columns, which in turn support a higher mantelpiece. Between the columns is a square glass mirror in a light wood frame. There is a very large wooden fender enclosing an area of floor papered to represent pale green ceramic tiles. The fireback is papered to match.
