Summary
A doll's house chandelier in the shape of a six sided metal holder for a night light, each side has a three panelled window like holes, and the top panel is half moon shaped. The shaped tin sheeting has a gold coloured paint finish and would have been hung from the hook at the attached metal chain. There is a transparent sheeting made of an unknown material, to create the glazed window effect, and on the inner bottom there is evidence of candle wax.
Provenance
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mrs Nina Hooley in 1976. Part of the contents of a large doll's house (catalogued as 661760) given to the donor in 1919, when she was 6 years old.
