Summary
A wooden doll's house size desk. This is made of light coloured wood with a rectangle of red and black leather on the top. The two solid sides and the front and the rest of the top are varnished. The front has a central kneehole opening in Moorish style with an open rectangle on either side. The plain back has a small rectangle cut out at the base in the centre. There are spots of shiny orange paint on the back.
Provenance
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mrs Nina Hooley in 1976. Part of the contents of a large doll's house (catalogued as 661760) given to the donor in 1919, when she was 6 years old.
