Summary
A doll's house size metal table and desk. The desk is painted blue with solid sides and back. The front has a kneehole centre opening with three drawers either side and two long narrow drawers across the top. All have a knob centrally placed. The inner side is grey metal with a half round metal rod on each of the three sides. The desk has several cracks. The matching table is painted blue with a white top. It has tapered legs and two small simulated drawers on one long side, also with a knob on each. Underneath the table is embossed 'Dinky Toys, Made In England By Meccano Limited'. Total number of items is 2.
Provenance
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mrs Nina Hooley in 1976. Part of the contents of a large doll's house (catalogued as 661760) given to the donor in 1919, when she was 6 years old.
