Summary
A blue and white ceramic child's toy dinner service. The blue pattern has different scenes from Charles Dickens' 'Old Curiosity Shop'. There are five different views incorporating buildings, trees and people. Most of the pieces are stamped on the base giving information about the makers and pattern which reads 'Ridgeways, WRS and Co, Humphery Clock, England'. In the set are four cups (one has been repaired with glue and rivets), six saucers (one broken and glued), one milk jug (broken and glued), six small plates (one chipped), eleven plates, three oval serving plates (small, medium, large), an oval shaped teapot with a lid, a gravy boat, a sugar basin and two vegetable dishes with lids. Total number of items is 39.
