Summary
A rummy variation card game based on the 1941 Walt Disney film 'Dumbo' in a rectangular cardboard box with a lid at the top. The box contains forty-five playing cards with full colour illustrations of characters and events from the film. These are numbered from 1 to 11 with four different suits, square, circle, diamond and star. An additional card 'J' the joker, depicts Dumbo in clown makeup. The reverse of each card depicts Dumbo and his mouse friend on a trapeze printed in duotone blue with 'By Permission Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Ltd And Mickey Mouse Weekly' at the bottom. There is also a folded set of printed instructions. The game is a form of gin rummy. Printed in blue and white on the box is 'Walt Disney's, Pepys Series, Dumbo Card Game' with an illustration of Dumbo the elephant from the Walt Disney film of the same name. His mouse friend is on the reverse. On the sides of the box is printed 'The Latest Form Of Rummy', British Manufacture', 'For Two Or More Players' and 'In Full Colour'. Total number of items is 47.
