Summary
A card game entitled Shuffled Symphonies, with its original box (1939). The game consists of 45 colour illustrated playing cards of Walt Disney cartoon characters and a set of rules. There are seven pairs of value cards with the numbers '1', '2', or '3' in the top left and bottom right-hand corners. The characters depicted are as follows; Snow White; Mickey Mouse; Donald Duck; Dopey; Horace Horsecollar; The Three Little Pigs; Pluto; Elmer Elephant. There are seven pairs of no value cards as follows; Ambrose Kitten; Clarabelle; Minnie Mouse; Donna Duck; Dirty Bill; Pied Piper; Country Cousin; Toby Tortoise; Goofy; Tilly Tiger; The Twins; Clara Duck; Max Hare; Three Little Wolves. There is one card of the Big Bad Wolf, which is the penalty card. The back of each card has an illustration in red of Mickey Mouse. There is a small booklet of rules. The original box opens at the top with a flap and has an illustration of Mickey Mouse on the front with the text above reading 'Shuffled Symphonies'. On the back there is an illustration of Mickey Mouse's head with text above and below reading 'Shuffled Symphonies Card Game By Permission Walt Disney. Mickey Mouse Ltd And Mickey Mouse Weekly'. One of the sides reads 'In Full Colours'. Total number of items is 48.
